S. Lloyd Jackson

1931 - 2025

S. Lloyd Jackson, formerly of Little Ridge, N.B. passed away at Campobello Lodge, Welshpool. N.B. on Monday, October 27, 2025.

Born in St. Stephen, N.B., son of the late Ivan L. and Mildred (Deacon) Jackson.

Lloyd seemed to excel at whatever he did. He enjoyed woodworking and made many toys for his grandchildren. Lloyd worked at his family's business in Saint Stephen NB, he was in the RCAF for about 10 years, and he was even a town Sheriff for a time. He was a logging truck driver and owned a couple of trucks with self loaders. One of his dreams was to move to BC and own his own logging truck, which he did. After he retired from the logging business, he moved back to New Brunswick and drove a school bus, he enjoyed the children and was sad to have to retire from this job.

He was also a faithful member of the Union Street Atlantic Baptist Church, St. Stephen, N.B.

Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Alma (Kingett) Jackson, children, Cindy O'Leary, David Jackson and Suzanne Kessler, six grandchildren; Christina, Aimee, Eryn, Jesse, Caleb and Zachary, several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Christopher Robin Jackson (1976), two brothers, Robert and Mel, one sister, Louise.

In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation held.
