In Loving Memory Of

Linda A. Arseneault

1954 - 2025

Linda A. (Colford) Arseneault of Maxwell Crossing, NB, passed away on October 11, 2025, at the Charlotte County Hospital St Stephen, NB.

She was born at St Stephen, NB in 1954, to Hubert and Melva Colford.

Linda grew up between Canoose, Weaver Siding and Maxwell Crossing. Her first 5 years of school was in a one-room country school. At just 17, she married Cyril Arseneault, they’ve been a team and best friends for these last 53 years.

Together they raised their two sons; Amos and Jamie, at their home on the Valley Road. Linda was musical and used to gig with a band of local country-music musicians. She worked for some time at The Met and then at Shoppers Drug Store. Most recently she worked as a care giver, including for her mother-in-law; Theresa, her mother; Melva, her grandmother; Mildred and her aunts.

Her gentle nature, patience, and dependability, not to mention her baked treats, suited her to this work and she was well loved.

Theirs was a hockey family and she and Cyril spent many hours on the road, at the rink, in the field and in the gym, to cheer on their grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her husband, Cyril; their son Amos of Valley Road and his children Ayden, Benjamin and Allie; son Jamie of Grand Prairie, Alberta, his wife Samantha and their children Quinn and Emery; great-granddaughter Easton; sisters-in-law Mary Ann Chambers, Mina Little, Nancy Arseneault and Denise Trafton (Danny); brothers-in-law David and Jimmy Arseneault; aunt; Carol (Hovey) Cunningham (Jack); special cousins Effie and Essie, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father; Hubert (1977), mother Melva (2009)and big brother Gary Colford (2019).
