RICHARDSON - The death of Kathleen (Kaye) Richardson of Windsor Court, Fredericton, NB, formerly of St. Stephen, wife of the late H. Maxwell (Max) Richardson occurred at Windsor Court on February 7, 2011. She is survived by a daughter Kathie Wells (Robert) of Ottawa, ON; a son George Richardson (Judy); a granddaughter Alice Richardson all of Fredericton, NB and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers Granville, Ralph, Lloyd, Albert Douglas (infant), Bertram Alva (infant), a niece Anne Pollard and nephews Chauncey and Randy Pollard.Kaye was born at Central Tower Hill, NB on October 8, 1920 to the late Chauncey and Alice (Ludgate) Pollard. She graduated from St. Stephen High School and attended Teachers College in Fredericton. The majority of her life was spent as loving wife, mother and grandmother in St. Stephen. In 2004, she moved to Windsor Court Retirement Home in Fredericton, NB.She was a member of Nereides Temple No. 78 Daughters of the Nile, Saint John, NB, as well as Heritage Chapter IODE, Queen Mary Chapter No. 4 Order of Eastern Star, Bethany Anglican Church Club, Christ Church, all of St. Stephen, NB. She was also a former member of St. Croix Senior Citizen's Club and the Charlotte County Hospital Auxiliary.Her hobbies were many and varied, but her passion in later years was genealogy, both for herself and many others in both Canada and the United States. She was very artistic and did many hours of artwork for both IODE and OES events.Funeral services will be held at Christ Anglican Church, Prince William Street, St. Stephen, NB on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be on Friday, February 11, 2011 from 3-6 p.m. at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB.For those who wish donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
