Frances Richards

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Frances E. Richards (Voutt) on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. surrounded by her loving family.

Frances was born in Dewolfe NB, oldest daughter of the late Willis Charles and Mildred Verna (Gardner) Voutt.

Frances is survived by her three sons, Dwayne (Donna) Richards, Robert Richards and Gregory (Amanda) Richards, two daughters, Deborah (Doug) Smith and Susan Cooke all of St. Stephen, N.B., fifteen grandchildren, Ricci (Star) Richards,  Jaime (Clint) MacLennan, Kathie Richards (Bob Burnside), Jeka (Chris) Dupont, Whitney and Allyson Richards, Sara -Jade  and Gaige Russell- Richards, Braedyn Hastey,Kayli Denley, Jelisa (Jessie) and Ben (Ashley) Smith,  Britni, Ashalee (Brad) and Ethan Cooke,  eleven great-grandchildren. Frances is also survived by her brothers and sister, Borden (Shelia) Voutt of Ontario, John (Linda) Voutt of Dewolfe N.B. and Barb Voutt of St. Stephen N.B., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Frances was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Gerald Richards, daughter, Mary Richards, six brothers, David, Milton, Paul, Basil, Beverly and Murray and three sisters, Phyllis, Mary and Evelyn.

Funeral service will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen N.B. on Friday, September 16, 2022 at 2 PM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12-2 PM.

Interment at Moores Mills Rural Cemetery, Moores Mills NB.
