It is with the greatest sadness and the deepest love, the family announce the passing of Kitty J. Keating on Tuesday October 22, 2024, at the Charlotte County Hospital St. Stephen, NB.
She was the daughter of the late Milton and Dorothy Lindsay.
Kitty worked various jobs in her early life then was caregiver of her foster children for over twenty years.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, painting, quilting, gardening, playing bingo and watching hockey with her family. Kitty was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary #9 for fifty-five years. She was on the school board at the Milltown Elementary School and was one of the individuals who helped get the crosswalk in.
Kitty was the youngest of her siblings and was the last survivor of; Rosemary, Jennie, Reta, Buddy, Ray and Burton.
She is survived by her children; Gwen Keating (Paul), Johnny Keating, Susan Smith-Bell (Carl) and her chosen son; Ricky Brooks, grandchildren; Alexander Lyman (Sarah), Catherine Smith (Justin) and Lucas Lyman (Chloe), great-grandchildren; Myla and Callie, sister-in-law; Janice "Sandra", several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband; Dale, grandson; Jeremy and her six siblings.
There will be no funeral service to be held.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to a special friend and nurse practitioner, Yvonne Bartlett and a special thank you to all of her extra mural and home support workers over the last several years.
