Vera Madeline (Bartlett) Caldwell passed away peacefully October 20, 2024. Vera was soon to celebrate her 86th birthday in November.

She was the daughter of the late Wallace & Clara (Greer) Bartlett. The last of their family of 6. Ruth, Don, Muriel, Mary, Allison & Vera.

Her loving husband of 41 years Bennie Caldwell passed away in 1997. Vera & Bennie had 5 children whose names she recalled with bright eyes well into the final stage of Alzheimer’s. Mike (Mary Carson), Eric (Jocelyne Robichaud), Christine (Eric Haley), Randy (Julie Smith), Duane (Renee Vautour)

Our family continues to grieve the recent loss of Vera’s daughter in law, Jocelyne Robichaud on October 14, 2024

Vera’s family have been blessed with 9 grandchildren. Tracy Foster, Lindsay Greenlaw, Stephanie Connick, Lauren Haley, Jordan Haley, Regan Haley, Braden Haley, Ben Caldwell & Robyn Caldwell.

We have also welcomed 6 great grandchildren into our family. Taylar & Sidney Urquhart, Danen & Aliyah Greenlaw, Peyton & Xander Connick.

Vera's family will host a welcome visitation at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Thursday October 24th from 12-2 PM , immediately followed by a celebration of Vera's life.

Interment at Moores Mills Cemetery, Moores Mills, N.B.

The family would like to express appreciation for the wonderful care and kindness of the staff of Lonicera Hall and Lincourt Manor. You helped to make these transitions for our Mom pleasant, comfortable & welcoming. We also are so grateful for the skilled & kind staff of the CCU at the Charlotte County Hospital.

Memorial Donations may be made in Vera’s name to Lonicera Hall in St Stephen or charity of your choice.
