Larry W. Foster passed peacefully on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at his residence in Bocabec, New Brunswick.

Larry is the son of the late Kenneth and Muriel (Johnson) Foster.

Though he had only three children, Larry had countless youth that wandered in and out of his home seeking advice, company and a good laugh.  Larry worked predominantly in the clamming industry in his younger years.  As a harvester, advocate for clean water policies, buyer and mentor.  But there was not an odd job that he would turn down.  He spent the last couple decades working with his Rossmount Inn work family.

He leaves behind his three daughters, Cynthia (Rob) Howland, Christine Foster, and Kathie (Quinn) Cable, grandchildren, Katrina, Josh, Christopher, Estelle and Natara, great grandchildren, Paisley, Scarlett, Nova, Haven, Oliver, Hunter and Cassidy, his wife Diane (McMurtry), his best K9 friend, Little Bit, siblings, Jackie, Linda and Stephen, with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving wife and mother of his girls, Kathleen (McMurtry), siblings, Johnny, Donne, Merlin and Frances.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B.  on Sunday May 5, 2024 at 4 pm.  Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from  2 – 4 pm.

Interment will be held at the Bocabec Cemetery, Bocabec, NB following the funeral service.

Donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Condolences can be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
