It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Al (Allie) Wood at the Saint John Regional Hospital  Saint John, NB on Tuesday April 30, 2024.  He passed peacefully with his wife and daughter by his side.

Al was born in Saint John, NB, son of the late Roy and Clemence Wood.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of 55 years, daughter Susie and precious grandchildren Ethan and Karlee MacDonald and his little furry side kick, Bella.  Al is also survived by his sister, Olivette Cormier and sister-in-law, Gail (Dana) McConkey, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Oliver Lockhart, nephew Clarence Lockhart and Terry Cormier, brother-in-law Barry Godsoe.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Saturday May 4, 2024 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday May 3, 2024 5 pm – 8 pm

Interment at St Stephen Rural Cemetery, St Stephen, NB
