It is with sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Heather E. Caldwell at her residence in Fredericton, NB on Sunday April 14, 2024.

Heather was born in 1963, the daughter of the late Eric and Edna Caldwell of St. Stephen, NB.

Heather was a long-time worker in the Medical Records department at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital in Fredericton and stayed there until her early retirement.  She had a lifelong love of cats and over the years had adopted many from the Fredericton SPCA.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed playing golf, and tried her hand at curling.  She will be missed by many and especially her long-time friends Patty, Sheena, and Lori.

Heather is survived by her brother David Caldwell (Anne) of Hampton, NB, niece Laura Caldwell and nephew Mark Caldwell.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Daryl Collings.

By Heather’s wish, there will be no visitation or funeral service.   A private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date.
