Marie E McLay passed away on Friday April 5, 2024, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, NB., wife of the late George M McLay of St Stephen, NB.

Marie was a loving wife, mother, sister and homemaker.   She had retired from Lincourt Manor as a nurse’s aid after many years of caring for others.  Marie was a devoted member of Maple Leaf Temple #30, Pythian Sisters and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survived by her four sons, Eddie, Gary, Carey of St Stephen and Kevin (Elizabeth) of Moncton, NB, two brothers, Roy (Ruth) and Phillip (Darlene), several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her husband George, Marie was predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Evelyn (Libby) Fraser, siblings, Clayton, Donny, Fred, David, Bernard, Phyllis, Geraldine and Vera.

At Marie’s request there will be no services.
