It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dianne Young on Tuesday January 30th, 2024, at the Saint John Regional Hospital with her two children by her side.
Dianne was a beloved wife to her late husband, Carl of almost 48 years. We take solace in that they are reunited again.
Dianne had a passion for the outdoors. She loved gardening, camping, kayaking, boat rides and going for long walks with her fur baby, Kit-Kat.
Dianne devoted her life to spending time and making memories with her family. Whether it be cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events or carrying on family traditions in the kitchen baking her special Christmas donuts, cookies and toad in the hole.
Dianne was a strong, loyal and loving person. She will be greatly missed and forever in our hearts.
Loving mother to Tony (Peggy) Young and Melanie (Shawn) Monaghan. Her biggest joy came from being "Nannie" to her four grandchildren, Sarah (Jesse) Cleghorn, Austin Young, Addisyn and Jack Monaghan.
She is also survived by her siblings, Nancy Simkus, Norman (Heather) Buchanan, Kathy (Jim) Brown, Larry Buchanan and will be missed by many other friends and family.
The family will receive friends at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 3-5 PM. There will be no funeral service held at this time.
