It is with great sadness that the family of Bette H (Justason) Hatt announce her passing on Monday November 6, 2023 at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, New Brunswick

Bette is the daughter of the late Gordon and Helen (McEvoy) Justason.

Bette was employed at the Biological Station in St Andrews until her retirement in 2013.  She enjoyed a varied and rewarding career for 29 years at The Department of Fisheries and Ocean.

Bette is survived by sons, Troy (Patti) and Mark (Marina).  They were the joy and pride of her life and gifted her with five cherished grandchildren, Dawson, Trey, Ayden, Daphney and Drake.  Also survived by sisters, Barbie Webber, Geri Holland (Peter), Lynn Justason and brother, Gordie Justason.

In addition to her parents, Bette was predeceased by her husband, Thomas, the father of her children whom she was married for 27 years, brothers in law, Peter Webber and Paul McNichol.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street  St. Stephen, New Brunswick on Friday November 10, 2023 at 2 pm.   Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday November 9, 2023 from 6 – 8pm.
