It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that the Family
of Josephine "Joey" M. Gullison, announce her unexpected
passing on September 25, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital,
Saint John, New Brunswick.
Born in L’Etete, New Brunswick, daughter of the
late Thelma and Herbert Leslie Sr of Back Bay, New
Brunswick.
She is survived by her loving husband; Glenwood, sons;
Maurice (Marilyn), Doug (Barb), Glen, and Derek (Becca),
grandchildren; Jamie (Amanda), Stephanie-Ann (Jeremy), Nicole (Paco),
Erin (Ryan), Shannon (Mark), Joshuah (Rachel), Alicia, Megan, Paige,
Kirkland, Evan, Claire and Finlay, great-grandchildren;
Alexander, Chloe, Raina, Declan, Collin, Nora, Amelia and Jacob,
daughter-in-law; Nancy, sisters; Barb, Kay (Louie), Connie,
sister-in-law, Dianna, several nieces, nephews and
cousins.
In addition to her parents, Joey was predeceased by her
"PA" Maurice Hanley, daughter, Stacey, son-in-law, Nick,
granddaughter, Laura, brother, Herbert and sisters, Gail and
Gloria.
Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home
Ltd. 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, New Brunswick from where
the funeral service will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 2
pm. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on
Thursday September 28, 2023 from 2 – 4pm and 6 – 8
pm.
