Joyce M. Connick passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the age of 83 at the Charlotte County Hospital.

Born in St. Stephen to Chester and Doris Whittier in 1939, Joyce was the older of two children, losing her sister Janice to cancer in 1967.   Joyce was married to her loving husband Jerome for 64 years, raising their two children, Bonnie and Randy on Pomeroy Ridge, NB.

Joyce spent her working years at Ganong Bros, The Metropolitan and Haun’s Greenhouses.  She had a love for gardening as could be seen by the many flower beds that surrounded her home.

Joyce was a true country girl, always comfortable in her jeans and denim shirts and listening to country music. Her love of horses was evident throughout her home, from framed prints and calendars to figurines and so much more.  Antiquing also was a passion of hers.

One of her favorite hobbies was playing Bingo, which she enjoyed going to for many years. Recently she enjoyed radio Bingo every Monday night.

Joyce loved her grandchildren, always interested in what they were doing.  Her great grandchildren would always bring a smile to her face.

Joyce is survived by her husband Jerome, daughter Bonnie (Eldon) Cumberland, son Randy (Karen) Connick, grandchildren Brian, Krista, Nadine, and step-grandchildren Marlene and Cassandra. Great grandchildren Lauren, Kathryn and Grant.

A private family graveside service will be held at Scotch Ridge Cemetery.
