Philip L. Williams, son of the late Charles Albert Sr. and
Muriel (Cottrell) Williams passed unexpectedly at the Saint John
Regional Hospital, Saint John, N.B. on Sunday May 14,2023 at the age
of 69.
Philip enjoyed living by the water in Upper Mills, tinkering
around in the yard or visiting with members of his little community.
He was a fixer of all things, a jack of all trades. If you had frozen
pipes, needed a window replaced, or a foundation poured, or even
building a house, you'd call Phillip. He could also be found at the
Busted Knuckle Garage with his friends Mike, Geno and Richard working
on cars.
Philip was a talker, no matter where he was. He would always
say "Do you know what? "and "Whatcha think of
that?" and he would go on and on and on! But most of all he loved
being a Grampy, to Dimitri and Winfield they were his pride and joy.
He had a lot of friends and will be sadly missed.
His partner Jan cherishes the memories they had watching
movies, going for drives and occasionally discussing if she was right
or if he was. His stepdaughter Tammy knew she could rely on him when
she needed his help.
He is survived by his partner, Jannet Murray, stepdaughter,
Lisa Murray, two granddaughters, stepdaughter, Tammy Murray, two
grandsons, Dimitri and Winfield. He is also survived by sisters- Beryl
Brilliant of Calais Me., Jean Williams of St. Stephen, Dorthy McCombie
of St. Stephen, Nancy Davenport of Woodstock N.B, Joyce Williams of
St. George N.B., brothers, Harold of St. Stephen, Roy of Ottawa ON.,
Billy of St. George N.B, Richard of Elmsville, N.B.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister,
Ruth Hartford, three brothers, Donald, Charles Albert Jr. and Earl,
his infant daughter, Rebecca Williams
A graveside service will be held at the Upper Mills Cemetery,
Upper Mills, N.B. on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 2 PM.
