Florence is survived by her dedicated children, son Robert Dickerson (Teresa), daughter Geraldine Dickerson (Jerry), and son-in-law Phillip Wilson. Florence will be deeply missed by her eight adoring grandchildren Teena Dickerson (Jim), Trisha Dickerson (Joe), Jackie White (James), Bill McCurdy (Katrina), Vicki Urquhart (Keith), Melissa Wright (Greg), Carla Wright (Ryan), and Stephanie Wilson (Steven). Florence will forever be remembered by her fourteen great-grandchildren and four great, great-grandchildren. In her final days, Florence's loving thoughts were of the upcoming arrival of her fifth great, great-grandchild. 

 

Florence is also survived by her siblings, Pauline Carter (Russ), Gerald Grant (Jeanine), and Hazen Grant (Nancy), and many nieces and nephews. 

 

Florence was creative, talented, thoughtful, generous, kind, and accepting. Florence was a loving grandmother, helping her grandchildren with everything from sickness to schoolwork to heartbreak. In her lap, her grandchildren and great-grands could always count on a funny song, game, story, or craft. All who loved her will miss her quiet grace and understated strength.
