It is with deep sadness that the family of Georgette Roy announce her passing in hospital in Valleyfield Quebec on November 24 , 2022. Born in Kedgwick NB, she has lived in Cantebury, St Stephen, Montreal and Vaudreuil Doiron, over the years.

Georgette lived a long life, 93 years, through good times and sad times, but from her years in the convent, she always stayed close to her Lord. She worked at the Wearknitters in Calais, local restaurants in St Stephen and Montreal, and lastly, at Charlotte County Hospital and was renowned for her excellent cooking skills, "if the taste is not there, it is no good".

She is survived by her children, Robert (Jackie), Harry (Kate), Patsy (Shirley), Ronald (Myrna), Raymond (Wendy), Jeffrey (Cindy), Joyce (Lloyd) and Irene. There are also thirteen grandchildren and eighteen great- grandchildren, left to mourn.

In addition to her mother, who died when she was 3 years old, and her loving father many years later, she was predeceased by her first husband, Patrick, who she was married to for 60 years: five children; Claude, Jacques, Stephen, Joanne and Andrew and one great- grandchild. She was also predeceased by  a second husband, Henry Gauthier, whom she married during Covid-19 pandemic, and had such pleasant times for a few short years and whom predeceased her by less than a month. May they meet again and enjoy the times they have lost.

As well, many of her friends and Kedgwick "family" have also predeceased her.

There will be no visitation at her request. Interment and Mass will follow in the spring of 2023.
