It is with sadness the family of Joan F. (Thornton) Bridges wish to announce her peaceful passing at Charlotte County Hospital N.B. on July 23, 2022. Born in St. Stephen, N.B., daughter of the late Norman and Janet (Tapley) Thornton.

A loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In addition to her husband, Bill, Joan is survived by her daughter Nicole Bridges and son Ryan (Carla) Bridges of Moores Mills; her beloved grandchildren: Hallie, Kendall and Carter as well as her brother Norman (Judy) Thornton of Calais, ME; Nephew Chris (Sherri) Thornton of Stetson ME. 

Joan grew up in Milltown N.B. met her husband Bill and moved to Oak Bay, N.B. where they were happily married for 55 years.

A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
