Joyce E. Fairweather of Lawrence Station, NB., passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB. on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Born in St. Stephen, NB., daughter of the late Phillip and Evelyn Anderson.

Joyce was a hard worker. She was a waitress for many years and worked at the Charlotte County Hospital in housekeeping, where she loved her work and coworkers.  Since her retirement, 13 years ago, she has loved the summers on her deck and watching Jeopardy. She was a "social butterfly" when out, enjoying her time with family and friends.

Beloved wife of Walter Fairweather for 58 years, loving mother to Rocky (Terry), Kelly (Bruce) and Brenda. Joyce is also survived by five grandchildren, Megan and Kali Cunningham, Kyle and Kayla Johnson and Ayla Fairweather all of Alberta, eight great- grandchildren, her dog, Louie, siblings, Brian Anderson (Marjorie), Toby Anderson (Kathy), Johnny Anderson, (Carla), Pat Leavitt and Beatrice McLaughlin (Leo), nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Marvin, Gordon and Steven.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 2 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 12 Noon until service time.
