Donna M. (Smith) Bradford, wife of the late Alan Bradford, passed away peacefully at her residence in St. Stephen, NB. on Saturday, July 16, 2022.

Born in St. Stephen, N.B., daughter of the late F. Willis and Effie M. (Raymond) Smith.

Donna was a hard worker all her life. She waited tables, worked at the tuna plant for many years and dug clams.

She loved Christmas time: making wreathes, wrapping presents, decorating, and cooking and baking for the holidays. She made the best lemon squares and peanut butter fudge…ever!

She loved her family and attended every party and gathering. Donna was also an animal lover and her dog Jersey "her Baby" held a special place in her heart.

Donna is survived by her sons, Orris Bridges (Corinne) of Mohannes, NB., David Bridges (Darlene) of Nova Scotia, John Bridges (Kim) of St. Stephen, NB., daughter, Debbie Bridges (Roy) of St. Stephen, NB., stepson, Richard Bradford (Donna) of Corinth, Maine, stepdaughter, Kim Bradford Day (Larry) of Kenduskeag, Maine, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also leaves her sisters, Doreen Smith (Orris), Nancy Smith, Tammy Savoy (Joe), brothers, Leo Smith and Lee Smith, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Timothy Nelson and Jon Michael, stepdaughter, Tracy Bradford, brothers, Kenneth Smith and his wife Marian, Stedman Smith, John Smith, Dennis Smith, Calvin Smith, Glen Smith, sisters, Mary Smith and Ann Marie Smith.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 2 PM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 21 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM.

For those who wish, donations to the Charlotte County SPCA, Charlotte County Cancer or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
