Reverend Philip E. Anderson in his 88th year passed peacefully into the presence of our Lord, surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Passamaquoddy Lodge, St Andrews, NB.
Cherished husband of Melba (Greene), Devoted father of Kimberley of Kansas City, Missouri, Kevin (Kendra) of Beachburg, ON, Gerald (Cari) of Morinville, AB and Jennifer (George) Apopei of Oak Bay, NB, Beloved grandfather of Cory, Daniel, Jessica, Nicholas, Jayden, Gabriella and Alexandra, great grandfather of Benjamin, Florence, Charlotte, Nora, and Joseph. He will also be greatly missed by his many extended family.
Phillip was predeceased by his father John, mother, Evelyn, brothers, Hazen and Paul, sister, Roberta.
Although he served as a federal employee of Unemployment Insurance, Canada Customs and sat on several boards in the community, his life was devoted to serving as pastor of St Andrews Bye the Sea Full Gospel Assembly in St. Andrews, NB for 45 years. His heart reached out to all those with whom he came in contact.
Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 21 from 2-5 PM.
