Lorena A. (Sadler) Cunningham passed away at home on July 11, 2021, peacefully and surrounded by the family that she loved so much and who loved her back tremendously.

Predeceased by her infant daughter, Paula Louise, husband, Merlyn, parents Harold and Doris Sadler, brother Robert Sadler and sister, Marilyn.

Lorena is survived by her remaining children, Merlyn (Tami), Douglas, Bruce (Kelly), Kim Jones, Lisa Kierstead (Brian), Marti Cunningham (Robb), Pamela Anderson (Tim) and Shawn (Tammy-Jo), as well fourteen  grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Lorena (Rena to her friends and family) devoted her life to raising her eight children on the family farm in Scotch Ridge, New Brunswick.

Rena loved to cook and prepare meals and special desserts for her family and friends. She also loved to knit and would happily and patiently pass down her knowledge and skills to any of her family that asked.

Rena loved flowers and the beauty and joy that they brought her, her favorite being Peonies.

She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Rena and her family would like to thank Daniel and Erica along with the rest of the staff at Extramural Hospital, St. Stephen, for their support throughout this process.

By Rena’s request, there will be no visitation. A small, family service will take place at a later date.
