It is with sadness the family of Brian G. Bartlett announce his peaceful passing at Lincourt Manor, St Stephen, NB. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021.

Born in St Stephen, NB., son of Bessie (Hamilton) Bartlett and the late George H. Bartlett.

A lifelong resident of St Stephen, Brian was a graduate of St Stephen High School, Class of 1976.  After graduation from high school, he attended UNB Forestry School and graduated in 1979.

Brian had a long career with Georgia- Pacific, where he worked in the Forestry and Road Department for 14 years and 26 years as a wood purchaser for the Woodland Mill, which was a job he loved.

Brian had a great love for sports, especially his favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox. He was also an avid member of a Baseball Fantasy Group for over 30 years. He enjoyed golfing with his buddies, Lewis, John and many others. He was known to explore every golf course he could find around New Brunswick, and many in Maine and PEI too.

Travel outside of New Brunswick was a passion also, and he and Barb enjoyed many cruises and trips together in many destinations.

He is survived by his mother, Bessie, loving wife, Barb, son, John (Megan) of Cambridge, ON., precious granddaughter, Quinn, stepchildren: Ashley Burke- Boyer, her husband, Derek, and their children, Riley and Everett of North Bay, ON. and Michael Burke of Ottawa, ON. Brian is also survived by his sister, Brenda Hatt (Stephen) of St Stephen, NB., and brother, Perry Bartlett (Yvonne) of St. Stephen, NB., and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB. on Sunday, June 20, 2021 from 1-4 PM. Due to ongoing COVID-19 regulations, a private funeral service will be held, however those who wish may view a livestream on Monday, June 21, 2021 at 11 AM.
