Gerald J. McCrossin passed away at his residence in St Stephen, NB. on Monday, April 19, 2021 surrounded by his family.

Born in St Stephen, NB, son of the late Roy and Eva McCrossin.

Gerald graduated from St Stephen High School in 1965 and then attended the Moncton Institute of Technology.

He pursued several "careers" before becoming the "Disorderly Orderly" at Charlotte County Hospital, he was most efficient at his job while entertaining both the staff and patients! Gerald owned and managed Doherty Jewellers before embarking on his 35 years as a "renowned" Customs Inspector!

He followed his Catholic faith from the cradle to his final moments and it seemed to strengthen with every passing day.

Gerald cherished his children, Chris, and Karla, he was an immensely proud Dad indeed. His long-awaited grandson Mason delighted him everyday in everyway! He also treasured our abundance of truly special friends.

He had a great passion for music, singing and dancing (and could he ever.). He was always up for fun, but he was even better at creating the FUN! Tales of his crazy antics travelled across our nation and beyond!

Gerald’s missions in life were unconditional love for his family, keeping his door wide open to everyone- "stay a night, a few weeks or maybe move right in!" the door was always swinging, phone always ringing and his laughter resounding.

Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Weatherby), children, Christopher (Kelly) and Karla (Peter), grandchildren, Mason "Masonator" Noddin-McCrossin, and Evan Noddin (Andrene), special "grandchildren", Ty and Kali, brothers: Jim, Burton, and John McCrossin, many nieces and nephews and "adoptees".

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by infant son, Kevin Daniel (1973), sisters: Mary Ellen Hamilton, Theresa McCrossin, Ann Watters, and his brother, Arthur Connick.

Due to COVID-19, a private Funeral Mass will be celebrated for family and close friends on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at St Stephen's Catholic Church by invitiation only. There will be no visitation held.
