It is with great sadness, the family of Charles Herbert Giddens announce his passing at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB February 14th, 2021.

Charles was born in St. Stephen, NB August 28, 1948, son of Herbert P. and H. Marie (Ashley) Giddens.

Survived by his children Dorothy Sweeney (Bernard), Jason Giddens (Susan), grandchildren, Jared (Maddie), Chasidie, Greg, Mike, Nick (Naomi), great grandchildren, Creo, Braelynn, Kaydin, River, Peyton and Sam, siblings, Bill Giddens (Patsy), Theresa Giddens, Laurie Morrow (John), Mary Babcock (Tim), several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his loving wife in 2013 Mary (Neathway), son, Charlie and grandson Jacob.

Resting at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main St., St. Stephen, NB where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 16th from 6 – 8 PM and on Wednesday, February 17th, 12 noon to 2 PM.  A private family funeral service will be held. Family and friends are invited to watch a live stream on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 at 2:30 PM with Reverend Father Suresh Savariraj officiating.

Interment at the St. Patricks Roman Catholic Cemetery, Rolling Dam, NB at a later date.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, please keep in mind that masks are mandatory and social distance is strongly encouraged for the visitation at the funeral home.
