It is with immense sadness that the Polstra-Johnson family announces the passing of Brenda after a hard-fought battle with cancer on November 6, 2020 at the age of 53.

Brenda was born in St Stephen, NB., daughter of Gary and Irene Johnson.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is survived by her husband of 27 years, Stephen, and her children, Megan and Matthew. Brenda will also forever be remembered by her sister Debbie and her common-law husband, Gene, and their kids, Kendall and Zoe, as well as Stephen's extended family in Ontario and beyond, who are too extensive and loving to name.

An Accounting Clerk for her entire career; Brenda loved her work, and simply getting to do math. Her co-workers and employers were considered an extension of her family. She always had the brightest smile in any room and more than enough hope, fight, and love to fill an ocean. Cheerful and in high spirits to her final moments, Brenda always will be remembered as a shining light in the lives of everyone she encountered.

A funeral service will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB. on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 3 PM. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-3 PM. We are asking, in celebration of Brenda’s life, that guests wear or bring something yellow, as it was her favorite color.

Please keep in mind that due to Covid 19 restrictions, all in attendance must wear a face mask and respect physical distancing guidelines.

Those who desire to make memorial donations in memory of Brenda, please donate to the IWK Foundation at https://iwkfoundation.org/donate.
