Lawrence Bernard O'Brien passed away Dec. 14, 2011 at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen. He was the 16th child of 17 children born to Clarence and Cora (Farnham) O'Brien. He was born at the family home, 10 Spring St., Milltown, N.B. on June 12, 1925.

He served overseas during World War II in France, Italy and Germany, from 1939 - 1945. After returning from overseas, he worked at the cotton mill. After the closure of the mill, he moved to Meriden Ct., where he worked for many years. For the past several years Lawrence has resided at the home of a special friend, Robert Baxter. He received excellent care at the Baxters until he was admitted to the hospital two months ago when his health failed.

He is survived by two brothers, Clayton and Eugene O'Brien, of St. Stephen, N.B. and one sister, Mavis Frado, of St. Catherines, Ont.; many nieces and nephews, and special friend Robert Baxter.

Spring burial will be in the family plot.

He will be greatly missed by family and friends. For those who wish, remembrances to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
