John E. Sprague

It is with profound sadness that the family announce the passing of John E. Sprague on October 19, 2025, at Fundy Nursing Home Blacks Harbour, New Brunswick.

John born in Brockway, New Brunswick, the son of the late Vincent and Glennis Sprague.

John is survived by wife; Joyce, children; Doris Sprague, Paula Fraser-Cleghorn (Perry) and Jason Gowan (Paula), grandchildren; Trendon, Destiny, Matthew (Holly), Tyson and Ryan, great-grandchildren; Ava and Adeline, siblings; Alex Sprague, Allan Sprague (Ellen), Patsy Pelton (Norman), Margaret Babineau and Lynn Sprague.

In addition to his parents, John is predeceased by his brother; Glenwood.

Funeral service will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB on Friday October 24, 2025 at 2 pm. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 pm on Friday October 24, 2025 until service time.
