James Roland Bright

JAMES ROLAND BRIGHT- surrounded by his family, Roland Bright of McAdam passed away July 4th at the Harvey Hospital, Harvey, NB. Roland was born in McAdam October 10th 1926.

Son of the late Wilfred and Mary (Scott) Bright. Roland worked 41 years for CP Express and CP Transport in McAdam and Fredericton.

Survived by his wife of 57 years Marguerite (Sutherland) Bright, his children Alberta Smith (Neil) of McAdam NB , Marilyn Johnson (Randy) of Harvey NB , and Donald Bright ( Brenda) of Harvey NB. 5 grandchildren , 3 step grandchildren , 1 great grandchild and 9 step great grandchildren. 1 brother Daniel Bright (Beatrice) of Nepean ON. 1 sister Lillian Cook (Giles) of McAdam NB , and several nieces and nephews. 1 sister-in-law Isabel Bright .

Resting at St. Paul's United Church, McAdam NB with visiting hours Monday July 5 , 2010 , 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at the church on Tuesday July 6 , 2010 at 2 PM with Rev. Ellen Beairsto officiating.

Interment will be at Rockland Cemetery , McAdam NB. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to St. Paul's United Church , McAdam, or the charity of ones choice.
