Eric worked at several trades over his life. He was an Industrial Mechanic, appliance repair service man and worked at several sawmills around Charlotte County.

After retirement, due to illness, he took up woodworking in his shop and spent many hours there creating lighthouses and other cedar products which he sold at the markets.

Eric loved all his family but had a special bond with "the Girls" Beanna and Maddy. He loved to attend all their special school activities and loved to watch Brianna play hockey.

He loved to travel and spent many years camping with friends and 4-wheeling over the back roads with family and friends.

Eric was a proud member of Satellite Serenity AA group and had 28 years of continued sobriety in the program. He made many friends over the years through the program and cherished everyone of them. Although he had many illnesses over the years he fought each one bravely to his last breath.

For those who wish remembrances to Charlotte County Cancer Society or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by his family.

At Eric's request no funeral service will be held. The family will receive friends at their residence, 109 Barter Settlement Road, Barter Settlement, NB.
