Marie P. (Flagg) Lord passed away peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, NB. on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the age of 91.

Born on Grand Manan Island, NB., daughter of the late Ernest And Flora Flagg.

Marie was raised on Grand Manan Island until 1947, when she met the love of her life and moved to St Andrews, NB.

Marie was an avid card player and enjoyed curling and going to the dances. She also loved visits from her family and grandchildren.

Survived by her daughter Janice (Blaine) Sutherland, son, Rodney (Barbara) Lord, daughter-in-law, Heather Lord, six grandsons: Robert and Jeffrey Sutherland, Michael, Matthew, Jonathan and Devon Lord., , great-grandchildren: Aiden, Garret, Chyler and Casey, two sisters, Hilda Mott and Rose Flagg, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert Allen Lord, son, Kirk Lord, three sisters: Juanita Fitzsimmons, Gertrude Teakles and Eunice Flagg, two brothers, Douglas and Edward Flagg and two nieces.

There will be a private funeral service held. The family will receive friends at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB. on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 form 6-8 PM.

Please keep in mind, that due to Covid 19 restrictions, there will be social distancing measures in place, that could lead to wait times or a line to enter the funeral home. We ask for the safety of the public that you adhere to the guidelines and we also ask that you please bring and wear a mask while inside the funeral home.

Please use the carport entrance (Union Street side) to enter on Tuesday evening for the visitation.

Interment at Rolling Dam United Cemetery, Rolling Dam, NB.
