Beatrice "Bea" M. McRae passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB.

Born in Tryon, NB, daughter of the late Granville and Edith Kerr, Bea was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

 Bea Lived her life in Honeydale, caring for family and helping in her community. Many will remember Bea working at McRae’s, the family store, always with a smile for everyone.

She was a member of the Knox United Church and enjoyed helping with and contributing to the Tower Hill suppers.

Bea loved her family and visits were always welcomed with treats in the pantry and a hot meal to enjoy. She enjoyed knitting socks and mittens for family and friends, fishing at the pond on their property and her many pets.

Bea will be fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Lynnette, grandson, Dale (Janet), grandson-in-law, Sean (Sue), great-granddaughters, Sarah (Ryan), Alicia (Michael), Andrea (Jamie) and Erin, great-grandson, Ryan (Marlice), great-great-grandchildren, Patrick, Claire, Austin and Grace.

In keeping with Bea’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation held.

For those who wish, donations in Bea’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
