Colin Everett Fisher passed away at the Charlotte County Hospital on Sunday, January 5, 2020.

Born on July 12, 1934 in Dumbarton, NB, loving husband of Marion (Reynolds) Fisher for 56 wonderful years.

Retired from the Canadian Pacific Rail; Mrs. T.R. Meighan, Saint John Housing; a member of the Wesley United Church; Trustees, Board; envelope Secretary over 25 years, Saint Andrews Rural Cemetery; Seafarers Mission and Meals on Wheels. Colie always enjoyed the great outdoors, cutting trees, splitting wood and bringing home wood to burn.  Jack-of-all-trades, he enjoyed time spent with his grandchildren and family gatherings, he had a great love for all animals, he was faithful to his church and the highest adventure was his trip to Honolulu, Maui, and Hawaii.

Survived by his wife, one son, Charles, daughter-in-law, Lisa, son-in-law, Steven Godfrey, grandchildren, Nicholas, Victoria Godfrey, Laura, Benjamin and Meaghan Fisher, one sister, Ruth Mitchell, Ottawa, brother-in-law, Everett O’Neill and many, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by their beautiful daughter, Diane Marilyn Godfrey; sister, Pearle O’Neill; brother; Gilbert Fisher; sister-in-law, Doris Fisher; and brother-in-law, Lester Mitchell.

The family wishes to thank the many wonderful Extra-Mural nurses, staff of the Charlotte County Hospital and Dr. Brian Peer, we will always be grateful to you all.

Funeral service will be held at the Wesley United Church, 77 William St., St. Andrews, NB at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2020.

Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 1:00 to 1:45 PM.

Interment will be at the St. Andrews Rural Cemetery, St. Andrews, NB

The family requests no flowers, however, for those who wish, remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada, or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.mehanfuneralhome.ca
