It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce
the quiet passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and
great-great-grandmother, Hazel E. Babcock on October
28th, 2019 at the Charlotte County
Hospital. She was born on April 6th,
1923 to the late Ethel (Clark) Montgomery and Moses
Montgomery.
Hazel is survived by her five children, Keith, of Bethesda
Maryland, Kenneth of Great Barrington Massachusetts, Karen Dunlap of
St. Stephen, NB, Richard of St. Stephen, NB, and Ronald (Nora) of
Great Barrington Massachusetts. As well, she has touched the
lives of thirteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, two
great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Hazel is
also survived by her brother, Clark Montgomery of Nova
Scotia.
She is pre-deceased by her husband Raymond Babcock (1991),
daughter-in-law Ann Babcock, as well as two brothers and five
sisters.
A graveside service will be held at the St Stephen Rural
Cemetery, St Stephen, NB. on Saturday, November
2nd, 2019, at 2 pm. As per Hazel’s
request, there will be no visitation.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to all
the extra-mural nurses and home care support workers, especially
Melanie Milligan.

Charlotte County Hospital, The Upper Mills United Church or a charity
of your choice.
