With sadness, the family of Keith Osmond Doherty announce his passing on his 90th birthday at Wauklehegan Manor in McAdam, NB. He was the youngest son of James and Florence (Watson) Doherty and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Glenys and daughter, Isabel, two granddaughters, Crystal Armstrong (Keith), their children, Colby and Kristen, and Brigitte Gardner. Also survived by a special niece, Glenna MacIntosh (Sonny), and many other nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Keith was predeceased by a son, Jerry Keith and daughter, Mary Louise, sisters, Marjorie Doherty, Velma Sutherland and brothers, James Archibald and Lewis and Vincent.
He was employed by the CPR in McAdam and Saint John for many years. He was a lifelong member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Rockwood Encampment #31.
In honouring Keith’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. A private interment will take place at a later date in Rockland Cemetery, McAdam, NB.
