It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald D. Hastey at the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, NB on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 surrounded by his family.

Born in St. Stephen, NB., son of Lela (Madsen) Hastey and the late David E. Hastey.

Survived by his partner, Sylvia Matheson, his mother,  his children: Terri (Arnold), Brad and Wayne (Vicki), grandchildren: Ashley (Nick), Brittney, Tyler, Jared, Kyla and Kiersten, great granddaughter, Olivia, siblings: Delbert, Gary (Linda), Edie (Billy), Dougie (Levonne),  Brenda  (Mike), Irving and David (Viola), nieces, nephews and cousins.

Predeceased by his father, David, brother Robert and sister, Lori.

A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held at The S. O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB. on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 3 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-3 PM.
