On September 11, 2019 David Joseph McLaughlin of St. Stephen NB passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends.

Don't let it ever be said that David died of cancer. David "lived" with cancer! He carried on for years doing the things he loved. Dave was a long-time employee of St. Croix Vocational Centre, St. Stephen NB where he spent many happy hours in the woodworking department. He was well-known for his artwork and loved music, singing and playing his guitar.
Nobody on earth watched the movie "The Ten Commandments" more than David:-) He loved people; loved being out in the community!

On behalf of David we want to thank "the many" for all the support and kindness shown to him over the years. You were his family!

Mass of Thanksgiving will be held at St. Stephen's Catholic Church Tuesday September 17, 2019 at 11 AM. Viewing will be held at The S.O. Mehan and Sons Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St Stephen, NB. on Monday September 16, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to St. Croix Vocational Center or a charity of one's choice.
