At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB, September 9, 2019 Wayne Arnold Cook, loving husband of Irene Marie (McFadzen) Cook of Dufferin, NB.

Born at Blacks Harbour, NB, son of the late Wesley A. "Skinny"and Elizabeth J. "Betty" (Palk) Cook.

Survived by his wife, son, Eric Cook and his wife Nadine, their twin daughters, Hunter and Taylor of Ontario,  son, Duston Poirier of St. Stephen, NB, his brothers and sisters: Brian Palk (Nancy) of Saint John, NB, Rose Richard (Art Maillett) of Pennfield, NB, Sheila Cook (Keith Hunter) of St. Stephen, NB, James Cook (Mary) of Utopia, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by daughter-in-law, Leah and sister-in-law, Heather.

Wayne was a long-time employee with NB Power as a River Control Operator.  Wayne loved the outdoors and was very happy hunting, fishing or just taking long walks in the woods and spending time with his family and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM from The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main St., St. Stephen, NB.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
