Errol Ernest Beliveau
BELIVEAU- At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB., May 20, 2016, Errol Ernest Beliveau.
Husband of Lucille Jessie (Howse) Beliveau. Errol was born July 12, 1927 in Asbestos, Quebec, son of the late Wilfred and Anna (Valliers) Beliveau.
Errol loved to hunt, fish, canoe, skate and cross country ski. He enjoyed his church community. A square and round dance enthusiast, an extremely hard worker and avid volunteer. Some of his accomplishments include YSC Wood Lot Owner of the Year 2000, Deputy District Grand Master of Odd Fellows and President of Quebec Sheep Breeders Association.
Errol was a charismatic man who was a hopeless romantic with his high school sweetheart and lifelong partner, Lucille. An excellent judge of character, he was a natural leader. He did it all. Family, sports, working in industry, farming and travelling. Over a lifetime he lived in Quebec's Eastern Townships, Montreal and finally retired to New Brunswick. A favorite motto was "Work is fun." He was a true gentleman.
Survived by his wife of 69 years, Lucille, four children; Dianne, James (Helen), Layla and Randall, eleven grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by daughter, Ginnie Lou.
