Franklin Byron Cunningham
CUNNINGHAM- Franklin Byron Cunningham, age 86, of St. Andrews, died Nov 10th in the Charlotte County Hospital, St Stephen, NB. after a brief illness.
Frank was the son of the late Raymond and Beatrice Cunningham of St. Andrews.
He was a loving husband to his late wife Shirley (Gibson) who died in 1993.
He is survived by his son, Shawn (Mary Lynn) of St. Andrews, NB and by his brothers; Addison (Jean) of Mouth of Keswick, NB. and Carl (Edna) of Dartmouth, NS, sister-in-law, Ellen Taylor of Dartmouth, NS, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Frank was a kind, caring husband and father who loved to work with his hands, whether it be woodworking, photography, painting or gardening. In 1961, Frank started his career at the St Andrews Biological Station as a draftsman and photographer. He retired after 33 years in 1994. Frank was a long time member of the St Marks Lodge F & AM in St Andrews. Frank resided in St. Andrews until 2004 when he moved to the St. Stephen Seniors Complex at Old Ridge NB.
We would like to thank the staff for taking such great care of Frank for the past ten years.
No funeral service or visitation will be held at the request of the family.
