Charles Arthur Denyer
DENYER- at Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen, NB with his family by his side, Charles Arthur Denyer passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014.
Charlie was the son of Ruth (McCracken) Denyer and the late Arthur Denyer.
Survived by his mother, his wife, Marie (Lindsay) Denyer, his children, Karen Caswell (Michael) and Tom Denyer (Alicia) , his sister, Carol Purcell, grandchildren , Charlotte and Peter Caswell, who were the light of his life and Nathan Denyer, born two weeks ago on Charlie's 65th birthday, sister in law , Janice Huczel (Carl), brothers in law, Richard (Linda Jean) Lindsay and Eugene (Gloria) Lindsay, many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his father, sister, Frances, brother, Jim and brother in law, Mike Purcell.
Charlie was a mechanic for many years and a volunteer firefighter. In 1984, he became full time Fire Chief for the St. Stephen Fire Dept. until 1992, when illness left him disabled. He always remained a firefighter at heart.
Resting at The S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB from where funeral service will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 2 PM.
Visiting hours will be held funeral home on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances to St. Stephen Fire Dept., Muscular Dystrophy and Lincourt Manor would be appreciated by the family.
