DAY - The family of Wayne Arlington Day of McAdam, N.B., sadly announces his passing on May 18, 2013 at his summer residence on Palfrey Lake, McAdam, N.B.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Laura (Buchanan) Day; 6 children, Sharon Springer (Charlie), John Day (Debbie), Tanya MacIntyre (Ken), Shelley Johnson (Vance), Frank Day (Lori), and Todd Day (Hope); 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; his 4 legged buddies, Major and Tabby; brother, Larry Day (Jean); sisters, Gloria Thornton (Jack), and Lorraine MacDonald (Ralph); Aunt Aggie and Aunt Rena Folland; close cousins, Raye Boon (Marilyn), and Eric Boon (Marlene); several cousins, nieces, nephews and his life long best friend, Bobby McIver.

He was predeceased by his parents, Arlington (Arlie) Day and Georgina (Folland) Day; brother Erroll.

Dad enjoyed fishing, hunting, wheeling, going to Fifth Lake, jamming with the boys and sitting on the deck overlooking Palfrey Lake playing his guitar.

The funeral service will be held at the Voice of Pentecost, 84 Harvey Rd., McAdam, N.B. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 2 PM.

Visiting hours will be held at the church on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
