Jacqueline Jeanne Doucet-Dowling
DOUCET-DOWLING - Passed away peacefully at her residence, Old Ridge, N.B, on January 3, 2013, Jacqueline Jeanne Doucet-Dowling. Wife of William Patrick Dowling and daughter of the late Michael and Ferne (Neilson) Gayton.
Survived by her husband, William; daughter, Tammy Bedford (Doug) of Oak Haven, N.B.; stepsons, John Dowling (Gwen) and William L. Dowling (Martha), both of St. Andrews, N.B.; sisters, Joyce Lamb (Larry) of Ontario, Faye Bailey (Gary) of Ontario, and Marilee Pittman of Newfoundland; brothers, Leigh Hammond (Enid) of Ontario, and Wayne Hammond (Rhonda) of Illinois; sister-in-law, Pat Hammond of Ontario; several special grandsons and granddaughters; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Natalie Mahar (Buddy) of Calais, Maine.
Predeceased by her parents; daughter, Diane Denise Doucet; brothers, Willis and Dennis Hammond.
Jacqueline served her country in the Royal Canadian Air Force. She worked at various jobs; Haley's Lumber Co., Freight Master, and McGlinchey Construction. Her remaining years she was employed with Dowling's Plumbing.
Funeral service will be held at the St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Milltown Blvd., St. Stephen, N.B. on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held at The S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B. on Monday, January 7, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
Interment will be held at a later date.
