HAWKINS – At her residence Oak Bay, (Tower Hill, N.B.) Helen Ann Hawkins,widow of the late Malcolm Lindburg Hawkins. Daughter of the late Cecil and Annie Laura (Leech) Benner.
Survived by her sons and daughters; Richard Follis, Eastport, Me., Bonnie Bowen (Corbett), Baxley Ga., Debbie Taylor (Stuart), Portland Me., Robert Follis, Calais, Me.,Wanda Scott (Dorian), Oak Bay, NB, Cecil Follis, St. Stephen, NB, Nancy Benear (Kelly),Fayetteville NC, Sally Southard (Steve), Elkin NC, 14 grand-children, 11 great grandchildren,two brothers; Phillip Benner (Marilyn), Manchester TN, Eugene Benner (Myrna), Berwick Me,one sister; Margaret Galvez, Mineral Wells, TX, several nieces and nephews and many people acquainted with Helen. Predeceased by brothers; Robert and William Benner.
Resting The S.O. Mehan and Son Funeral Home Ltd., 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, N.B.(506-466-1844) from where funeral service will be held on Wednesday February 24,2010 at 2:00 P.M. Interment at Leland Cemetery, Perry Me. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
